Lottie is a musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist and sports massage therapist at Total Therapy, alongside her role within Swanage and Wareham RFC’s medical team as a physiotherapist. Her roles involve assessing, managing, and preventing acute and chronic injuries using a combination of hands on treatment, exercise-based rehabilitation, and a holistic approach that considers lifestyle factors through education and advice. 

Patient goals and preferences are central to Lottie’s clinical practice. She supports individuals in achieving their goals and continuing to participate in the activities they enjoy. 

Lottie has a special interest in endurance sport, particularly supporting runners with injury treatment, prevention, and training structure. She also works with the Cardiff University Triathlon Team to provide strength and conditioning support, as well as injury prevention education.

Her background in eventing (equestrian), triathlon, ultra-running, and multiple team sports has shaped her adaptable, practical, and problem-solving approach to rehabilitation. By staying up to date with current clinical research, Lottie ensures that her patients benefit from the latest evidence-based practice, alongside consistent and transparent evaluation of progress. 

She is particularly passionate about supporting young athletes transitioning into competitive sport, helping them train safely and develop performance through education on the fundamentals of training and recovery.
